Computer Software Consultants, Inc.
Wayne was born and raised in New York City, during the heyday of the NY Yankees’ champion teams of the early 1960s. Growing up he developed his passion for baseball and then theater. A common school trip was to go to Yankee Stadium or “into the City” to watch performances at Lincoln Center and Broadway theaters.
Wayne left New York to attend college at MIT in Cambridge. He graduated with a degree in Math & Computer Science. During his time in Boston, Wayne maintained his love for baseball by attending Red Sox games at Fenway Park. He also polished his goaltending skills by playing for MIT’s JV hockey team for 3 years.
After graduation, Wayne worked on Magnetic Fusion research at the MIT National Magnet Lab as a scientific programmer. Two years later, after experiencing the Blizzard of ’78, he decided it was time to head to balmier climes and brought his computer skills to San Diego. Wayne has spent the last 38+ years, developing software for a variety of different disciplines, such as Magnetic Fusion Research (again), Online Real Estate Systems, Biomedical/Pharmaceuticals and Health Care Insurance. And even in sunny San Diego, he managed to play ice hockey for another 20 years.
After moving to Poway in 1995, Wayne created Computer Software Consultants, Inc. (CSC). CSC’s sole purpose is to provide highly competent computer support and guidance to small businesses. CSC is known as “your part-time IT department.” providing all the services that you would expect from a team of full-time IT professionals, without the overhead. CSC works as a partner with their clients.
Wayne’s interests include, of course, baseball – Go Padres!; live theater and music – he has been an avid fan of Poway OnStage for many years and also attends many classic rock concerts; traveling – with his amazingly supportive significant other, Sharon – having been to such diverse locales as the Amazon, Mt. Everest and the Serengeti; hiking, golfing and spending time with his two wonderful adult children, Kyle and Ariel.
Wayne joined the Poway OnStage board in February, 2016 and is helping to create an exciting future for world-class live performances in Poway!

Jerry "J.J." Mink
Co-owner, Kenneth Mink Fine Rugs - The Fine Rug Gallery at Macy's
J.J. and her family moved to Poway from Alexandria, Virginia, 21 years ago. While back east, she and her husband, Ken, were active golfing members of the Mount Vernon Country Club, serving on the Board of Directors. Ken worked for the family owned rug business. Their business grew to 80+ stores during the early '90s. Eventually, after multiple store closings and mergers, Macys took over the Federated Department Store conglomerate, and the rug business expanded. Ken and his two brothers own and operate the rug galleries in 178 Macy stores, employing 100+ managers and dedicated rug specialists.
J.J. has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Mary Baldwin College (now University) in Staunton, Virginia. After college, she spent a year as a Resident Apprentice in Theatre Management at the Virginia Museum Theatre in Richmond, Virginia. The following year, she was hired as the House Manager for the equity theatre.
After Ken and J.J. were married, they lived first in New Carrollton, Maryland, before their move to Alexandria in 1984. In those early years, when she wasn't chasing after two toddlers, she volunteered my time, both on and off stage, at the local community theatre.
Since living in Poway, J.J. has held numerous part time and volunteer leadership positions and has actively taken part in workshops and classes to further her interests. She is an active member of the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) and a member of the RB Community Presbyterian church. She took classes in event planning at UCSD, participated in the Poway Community Leadership Institute (PCLI) sponsored by the City, and currently serves as a founder and director of the South Coast Golf League. Prior to coming to Poway OnStage, she was elected to the Board of Directors at the Bernardo Heights Country Club, where she served for 6 years. In that position, she chaired the Social, House and Membership Committees.
J.J. is proud to serve on the Poway OnStage board, as it combines two of her interests: artistic performance and volunteer service. An enterprise like a performing arts center can only enhance a "community oriented" city like Poway, motivating residents to take part in its success.
